We came in today cause all of Lupton is out of power, and apparently everyone else had the same idea. We definitely waited, as there were only two girls working but they were busting their butts the whole time. We knew we were gonna wait a little because the place was packed, but they never left our coffee cups empty. They were probably stressing out a lot but they were still so nice. Food came and it was great. I'm so impressed with everything. I hope they get a good nap in today though, they deserve it.

This place is a great place to eat on your way up North. I have had the experience of dining here twice, and I'm glad I did! The bakery/cookies up front make the trip extra special. Get the peanut butter cookies!!!!!

This place was once a great place to eat lunch on your way up North. Last Friday, 8/7/15, at 11:30am we had a surprisingly shameful experience. Stood waiting inside front door 10 minutes, never acknowledged, never greeted...nothing. Food waiting in window...no waitress around to pick it up. I'm not sure what's happened here, but don't go unless you have absolutely NOTHING ELSE TO DO. Yes, we left to find a meal elsewhere.

Eat here all the time when we're at our cabin in rose city. Never had anything I didn't like! Killer omelettes!!!! Reasonable prices and friendly wait staff.

Everything is fresh and crazy delicious. Marie is the owner and she makes the strawberry jam herself. Pancakes are huge and the messy bowl is fabulous!!

Stopped here for lunch a few years ago and got a delicious, perfectly grilled reuben sandwich and a bowl of ham and bean soup I think I could eat every day. This morning I decided to give breakfast a try and ordered the special--eggs scrambled with sausage and onion and topped with cheese, along with potatoes and toast. The eggs were excellent, as was the homemade wheat toast. The hash browns were the weak link here. I ordered them extra crispy, and they came lightly browned in a serving an inch thick, leaving some of the shreds in the middle undercooked. They took up more room on the plate than the eggs, and I only ate about 1/4 of them. Note to the kitchen--you are not doing your customers a favor by serving a portion too large to cook well. Service was fine. Took a little time to get the waitress's attention, even though I was the only person in the restaurant at 7AM, but once she came, I was well taken care of for the rest of my meal. Coffee refills came just when I needed them. Will stop here again, though I might see if I can sub a vegetable for potatoes, or try the american fries.

Excellent food. Home cooking. The three of us had breakfast and really enjoyed it. Service was outstanding. We had pancakes and egg and meat. LOVE the house made toast.
